Nestled in northern Westchester County, Bedford Hills is a hamlet with a rich history and timeless charm. Originally known as Bedford Station, the community began to flourish in the mid-19th century with the arrival of the New York Central Railroad, which connected the area to New York City and made it a desirable destination for both commuters and visitors.

In 1910, the hamlet was renamed Bedford Hills, reflecting its evolving identity as a thriving residential and commercial center. Today, Bedford Hills blends historic character with modern appeal—featuring quaint shops, locally owned restaurants, and a strong sense of community.
